Wendy’s has a new love for cycling through Frosty flavors. This summer it made a splash with the Strawberry Frosty. And in smaller side events, he’s tried flavors like a Bananas Foster, a birthday cake, or the Rick and Morty-inspired Pickle Frosty.
On November 10, it announced that the Strawberry Frosty will be gone in favor of a seasonal Peppermint Frosty. This stole headlines as the fast food chain promised a unique take on seasonal indulgences. However, buried within this limited time offer is the promise that the Vanilla Frosty will be back the menu.
The company has previously noted that it’s likely you’ll only see two Frosty flavors at any given time due to space constraints. So Vanilla Frosty had to say goodbye when Strawberry Frosty was introduced. Now Strawberry Frosty says goodbye when Peppermint Frosty arrives.
A representative for the chain has confirmed to Thrillist that when Peppermint Frosty’s run ends—there’s no specific date for that yet—Vanilla Frosty will return to the Wendy’s menu. So, if you’ve been feeling slighted by all those pink Frostys usurping the throne of your favorite flavor, worry no more. Vanilla will be back after the holidays.
