After the hustle and bustle of the holidays, many people are looking to reduce their alcohol consumption and therefore participate in the dry January.

Who thought of quitting drinking for a month? Dry January started in 2012 as an initiative of Alcohol Change UK, to “abandon the hangover, reduce the waistline and save some money by quitting alcohol for 31 days”. Since then, millions around the world have taken on the challenge, and more and more Americans are taking part each year.
Undoubtedly, 2021 was stressful, from the January 6 uprising to the omicron appearance of Thanksgiving Day and everything in between. A lot of people are dealing with alcohol. According to a study by Rand Corporation, alcohol consumption already increased by 14% during the pandemic in 2020 and has continued to increase since then.
