MINT HILL, NC – Full-spectrum CBD oil typically refers to an oil that contains smaller amounts of CBD than THC and other cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. These compounds, even in smaller amounts, help the overall effectiveness of the oil, known as the Entourage effect. All cannabinoids have an acid molecule when they are in the plant, but when they are processed, the heating of the oil causes the acid to drop (CBDA to CBD). Acid cannabinoids have been shown to have their own medical purpose, and a study was recently published in the Library of Medicine showing how CBDA can help block the Covid-19 virus. Our full-spectrum oil takes advantage of these acidic cannabinoids, as we add them to them once the extraction process is complete. This gives us our full spectrum name, a full spectrum oil + added acid cannabinoids, which gives us the closest representation of the plant, as nature intended.
