Former soldier and TV star Jason Fox on how CBD has helped him

SAS: Who Dares Wins star and former UK Special Forces soldier Jason Fox has spoken about how CBD has helped him.

Fox was first introduced to CBD by Fourfive co-founder and ex-England professional rugby player George Kruis while he was experiencing sleep disruption after an expedition in which he and a friend canoed along the river Yukon.

Three years later, Fox has partnered with the brand to share its expertise and publicize the benefits.

Fox is best known for his long-running stint on Channel 4’s SAS: Who Dares Wins and as presenter of the investigative documentary series Meet the Drug Lords: Inside the Real Narcos.

Before moving on to British television, he joined the Royal Marines Commandos before moving on to the Special Naval Service, where he reached the rank of sergeant. He was medically discharged in 2012 after being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Since his dismissal, Fox has made several public appearances in which he spoke about his mental health, the years after his discharge, and the loneliness of battling his mental health issues.

Since trying CBD for the first time, Fox, often known as “Foxy,” has included CBD spray oil and muscle rubs in his daily routine to improve sleep and ease body aches.

Fox commented: “I was very skeptical. George sent me some CBD within a few days of returning from the trip.

“At the time, my sleep pattern was messed up and I never slept very well before anyway.

“I thought I would be in a state for a while with the time difference, the routine I had out there, not being in the dark and being all over the place.

“I got the CBD oil spray and started using it and within a few days my sleep pattern returned.”

He added: “Not only that, my lady said I was much calmer, my fuse is longer and I was a nicer person. I’m actually a better person for it and now I have it with me all the time “.

Fourfive was founded by professional rugby players George Kruis and Dom Day in 2018. After suffering a series of injuries, Kruis and Day discovered how CBD could be helpful in their recovery, leading them to explore effective remedies and natural for pain and sleep loss associated with sports injuries.

Former Welsh professional rugby player Day commented: “I am personally a big fan of what Foxy has achieved in the forces, during his appearances on SAS: Who Dares Wins, but most importantly in the work he does to give support for people with PTSD and mental health problems.

“With his genuine positive experiences using CBD products and also his past support of Fourfive, we are very excited to have him as part of the team.”

Kruis added: “Working with people you like is always a plus, but bringing someone like Foxy on board who I have the utmost respect for, both personally and professionally, is a huge step for Fourfive.

“We’re delighted to support his ongoing journey with mental health and PTSD and help raise awareness in these areas. Of course, we’re looking forward to launching him as well!”
