CBD and wellness brand fourfive has announced its partnership with SAS: Who Dares Wins star presenter and former UK Special Forces soldier, Jason Fox.
The partnership was inspired in 2019 when fourfive co-founder and ex-England professional rugby player George Kruis introduced Jason Fox to fourfive’s cannabidiol (CBD) following the presenter’s disrupted sleep during a trip to the Yukon. Three years later, Jason has teamed up with fourfive to share his experience with CBD.
Fourfive, based in St Albans, was founded by professional rugby players George Kruis and Dom Day in 2018 with the aim of bringing “premium quality and trusted” CBD and health supplements to the market.
After suffering a series of injuries, George and Dom discovered the “power of CBD” in their recovery, leading them to explore effective, natural remedies for the pain and sleep loss associated with sports injuries.
Speaking about his first introduction to CBD after an expedition to the Yukon, Jason said: “I was very skeptical. I had heard about this and that, so George sent me some CBD to the few days of returning from the trip.
“At the time, my sleep pattern was messed up and I never slept very well before anyway. I thought I’d be in a state for a while with the time difference, the routine I had out there, not being in the darkness and it was everywhere.
“I got the CBD oil spray and started using it and within a few days my sleep pattern came back. Not only that, my lady said I was much calmer, my fuse is more long and that he was a nicer person to be around! In fact, I’m a better person for it and now I have him with me all the time.”
Fourfive co-founder and former Welsh professional rugby player Dom Day added: “I’m personally a big fan of what Foxy has achieved in the forces, during his appearances on SAS: Who Dares Wins, but most importantly in the work.does to support people with PTSD and mental health issues.
